Bikaner was founded by Rao Bika in 1488. In earlier, it is known as Jangladesh. It was a group of small towns and no big city but after 1488, when Rao Bika comes here and established this city of Bikaner.

1. Rao Bika:-

Rao Bika was the first ruler of Bikaner. He established Bikaner in 1488. He died in 1504. Want more read about Rao Bika to click here

2. Rao Narayan Singh:-

Rao Narayan Singh is ruled after Bika's death in 1504, he rules only for short duration as one year.

3. Rao Luna Karan(lon Karan):-

Rao Luna Karan was ruled over here for 21 years from 1505 to 1526.

4. Rao Jait Singh(Jetasi):-

Rao Jetasi was born in 1489, ruled over here from 1526 to 1542, over 26 years.

5. Rao Kalyan Mal :-

He is born in 1519. He was ruled here from 1542 to 1574. He took part in Akbar Darbar at Nagaur in November 1570. In the list of Bikaner Rathore Vansh or history of Bikaner Rao Kalyan Mal known as Rajputane ka Karan.

6. Rao Rai Singh I :-

Rao Rai Singh was born in 1541, he was ruled over here about 38 years from 1574 to 1612. He was General in Mughal army as similar as Man Singh of Amber(Jaipur).

7. Rao Dalpat Singh:-

Rao Dalpat Singh was born in 1565. He was ruled over Bikaner state for a very short period of time from 1912 to 1613.

8. Rai Surat Singh:-

Rao Surat Singh was born in 1594. He ruled here from 1613 to 1631.

9. Rai Karan Singh:-

He was born in 1616. He ruled over here for 35 years, from 1631 to 1667. He was posted at Karanpura in Delhi by Aurangzeb.

10. Rai Anup Singh:-

Maharaj Anup Singh was born in 1638. The first ruler of Bikaner was awarded by "Maharaja" by Aurangzeb in 1675. He ruled here from 1667 to 1698, for 31 years. He was the administrator of Aurangabad in 1677-1678.

11. Maharaja Sarup Singh:-

Maharaja Sarup Singh was born in 1689. He ruled here from 1698 to 1700 only for two years. He was died by smallpox on 15 December 1700.

12. Maharaja Sujan Singh:-

Maharaja Sujan Singh was born in 1690. He become the Maharaja when he was only 10 years old. He ruled here from 1700 to 1735 for 35 years.

13. Maharaja Zorwar Singh:-

Maharaja Zorwar Singh was born in 1713. He ruled here from 1735 to 1746 for 11 years.

14. Maharaja Gaj Singh:-

Maharaja Gaj Singh was born in 1723. He ruled here from 1746 to 1787 for 39 years. The first Maharaja from Bikaner who get permission to build own coin by Alamgir II .

15. Maharaja Rai Singh II :-

He was born in 1744. He ruled Bikaner for a very short time of period in 1787.

16. Maharaja Partap Singh:-

Maharaja Partap was born in 1781. He becomes ruler of Bikaner in only age of 6 years old he died in the same years that he became the Maharaja.

17. Maharaja Dungar Singh:-

Maharaja Dungar Sing was born in 1854. He became Maharaja in 1872. But after Dungar Singh there were many rulers had ruled here but no one can do much. They all become Maharaja for a very short time. Between this time period, there were many rulers was ruled here as likewise Chhattar Singh(1762-1779), Dalel Singh, Sagat Singh, Lall Singh etc.

18. Maharaja Ganga Singh:-

Maharaja Ganga Singh was born in 1880. In the age of 7 years old he becomes the Maharaja of Bikaner state in 1887. He was the most powerful king of Bikaner history. He was ruled here from 1887 to 1943. Maharaja Ganga Singh is very important king in the list of Bikaner Rathore Vansh.

19. Maharaja Sadul Singh:-

Maharaja Sadul Singh was born in 1902. He ruled Bikaner from 1943 to 1949 till India becomes Independent.
